Wedgetail Platform (1400mm x 1250mm) for Mazda BT-50 Gen 2 4dr Ute with Bare Roof (2011 to 2020)

The Wedgetail roof rack to suit the Mazda BT-50 Dual Cab fits using a small bracket that rivets to the roof of the BT-50 using high strength stainless sealed rivets and is sealed to the roof using suitable natural cure silicon. Once these are fitted we attach our Wedge-wing one piece mounting kit to which the Wedgetail platform connects. The advantages of this kind of mounting system don’t just stop with a higher load rating and improved aesthetics, but it also allows for easy removal. The Wedgetail is wholly removed from the vehicle via four bolts, leaving only the four small brackets sealed to the roof.

How do accessories attach?

The Wedgetail platform uses sturdy crossbars that run to the left and right of the vehicle. This crossbar incorporates a heavy-duty channel top and bottom. These channels allow any Wedgetail accessories to be quickly locked in or out; this also means that a large variety of alternative accessories can easily be fitted to the Wedgetail rack if necessary.
